Darren’s career began in IT logistics but moved into management with a position as supervisor at Computer Parts international PLC which provided IBM parts and support to companies such as Boots & HSBC. Darren has 14 years experience of working in the field of IT, 12 of those years working for Dash Information Systems which he started in 1999 providing computer consultancy, computer support and sales to small and medium sized businesses. His roles have extended from support to consultancy and he is familiar with Linux and windows platforms. Darren maintains his technical competence in the fast-paced IT industry through regular attendance at specialist training, seminars & exhibitions.

Alex Dodd

Digital Manager

Alex’s particular responsibility is for data management and digital archiving. Her background as a bookbinder, repairing and restoring precious books for organisations such as the RSPB, makes her ideally placed to manage the delicate and intricate work of digital archiving. Alex’s skill of working with precious books, records and manuscripts means documents that are too fragile or valuable to otherwise release are suddenly available in virtual form to a wider and most appreciative audience.

Business Development Manager

Andrew has been in the IT industry since the age of 16 starting as a COBOL programmer. In 1998, Andrew was one of the first programmers to transform the Book of Remembrance into an on-screen digital version. During the last 10 years Andrew has installed and configured countless desktop computers, files servers and web servers. Andrew has managed computer systems for both large and small companies from Microsoft DOS to the latest Microsoft Windows 7 and Server 2008 server platforms, including Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and Terminal Server.
